I know business reviews are a big thing for people, especially since it does help draw traffic into your real business, including your site for it. A friend of mine run a coffee shop, and he has gotten some bad reviews in the past. Some that were very rude and some that just seemed like lies.

How do you as a local business owner, handle bad to poor reviews?

I saw some companies will respond and ask for more details. Some will give discounts and offer other deals. But sometimes a review is not true, in which case there's not much you can really do. I know with some sites like yelp allow business owners to respond to really bad reviews. But other than that, I don't think you can take bad reviews down. You just have to move on.

Unless it's a review that's offensive, than those will likely be taken down if reported.
